A “Min-terview” with Current Affairs, Where I Am Confronted about My Kitten-Eating Habits and I Also Take on the World of Publishing

A great book is like the memory of an excellent conversation: it lasts and returns in intangible ways for years and shifts your thinking.

My beloved Current Affairs does these “min-terviews” every week, and it was my turn. I was asked about the state of America, Jason Momoa (okay, I wasn’t asked about him, but I included him in an answer because, well, Jason Momoa), and publishing. Along the way, I got a tough question about my habit of eating kittens (see the above pic). I tried to wiggle out of an awkward situation, and failed.
